Butterflies Taste With Their Feet
I have a serious problem, or should I say had. This event didn't happen long ago but it taught me a lesson that I will never forget. I used to be the biggest procrastinator. I would put things off until the last minute and somehow I would always pull it off. One time this problem really backfired. I was assigned an assignment in the beginning of the quarter and was given the whole quarter to complete it. Day after day, week after week I used any excuse I could possibly find to get out of doing it. Finally the day before it was due I realized that I had accomplished nothing the whole quarter. Long story short I had to pull an all nighter to start and finish this assignment. Not only did I feel awful from the lack of sleep the next day, but the quality of the assignment was not to standard. I learned that once assigned you are going to have to do it sooner or later so you might as well just do it so you don't have to worry about it. I really grew up from this experience and have overcame my serious problem.

ReplyDeleteThat is very reassuring to know that I am not the only one with a serious problem like this. Maybe we can get together and do some kind of focus group and talk about our feelings and tips on how not to procrastinate.
ReplyDeleteThat sounds like it would be a good thing to do i also thing it would be fun.
